Product Description
Frozen Artichokes are prepared from the fleshy parts of the “closed Artichoke blossom “after
the removal of base
Leaves, then submerging them in citric, blanching and cooling. The product is then frozen in
accordance with GMP
and maintained at temperatures necessary for the preservation of the product (not below -
18°C).
Pesticide residues
Pesticide shall be not exceeding the MRL's of Codex &EC and ES.
Product Characteristics
The product is free from odor and any strange smells
The product color is to its original catachrestic color (pale yellow to yellow).
Using citric acid is allowed for color preservation
The product is free from any foreign bodies or impurities
The product is free from insect or fungal injuries or its effects
The result of Peroxidase and Catalyze tests are negative
The product is free from genetically manipulated organisms (GMO).
